We are an oil and gas exploration
and production company.

Our goal is to work as a team with people who are constantly working to improve their business and technical skills in order to ensure excellence throughout our value chain and to provide value to the region by leveraging our cutting-edge infrastructure.

Ural Refinery

Ural Refinery has been established in order to perform hydrocarbon exploration, drilling, production, refinery and marketing activities on behalf of the kazakhstan Republic.

As an integrated oil firm, Ural Refinery continued its exploration, production, refining, marketing, and transportation operations. Since the legal restrictions set in some other more recent amendments, Ural Refinery has operated as a state-owned oil exploration and production firm.

Kazakhstan Gas Field Development Project

A total of 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves have been discovered, and in 2022, they will be made available to our country thanks to the Kazakhstan Gas Field Development Project. In the first quarter of 2023, our country will begin receiving the natural gas that will be generated in the Gas Field’s initial phase. The project will provide nearly a quarter of Kazakhstan’s natural gas needs after the second phase is finished.

Social Initiatives

Since its inception, the national corporation Ural Refinery has sought not only excellent production performance but also effective work management, a high-quality asset structure based on cutting-edge corporate management, oil and gas business, and human resource development. For a short period of time, the Company was able to make significant progress. The Company developed and completed ambitious (joint and independent) projects that are significant not only for the oil and gas industry, but also for the economy as a whole. These projects were developed and implemented with the help of efficient planning systems, effective production links, and joint and independent projects.

Environmental Responsibility

An environmental impact assessment (EIA), which identifies the project’s environmental and other effects, is carried out at the planning stage of each project in accordance with the precautionary principle (Principle 15 of the United Nations Rio Declaration on Environmental Protection and Development, 2022), the specifications of the Ural Refinery environmental management system, and the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the design phase, each project also goes through public hearings where representatives from administrative, governmental, and regulatory bodies, research institutes, public associations, the local community, and the media can offer feedback.
